Talem Home Care is seeking caring and compassionate individuals to join our team as Lead Caregivers / Client Support Assistants in Colorado Springs, CO and surrounding areas. In this unique dual-role position, you’ll provide unskilled personal care and household services for clients in their homes, while also supporting our office team with scheduling, caregiver introductions, and quality assurance follow-ups. Job Summary

The Lead Caregiver / Client Support Assistant provides personal care and household services for clients in their homes, while also assisting the office team with coordination and quality assurance. This person serves as a companion to clients and a liaison between caregivers and office staff, helping ensure safe, organized, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

Field Caregiving (~20 hrs/week):

Provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking support
Fill in for open shifts, caregiver callouts, or introduction
Communicate client changes or safety concerns to office staff

Office Support (~10 hrs/week):

Assist with caregiver scheduling and phone coverage
Support new caregiver orientation and introductions
Conduct documentation follow-ups, check-in calls, and QMP tracking
Attend team meetings and share field feedback

Qualifications

Must be at least 18yrs old
1.5+ year of caregiving experience (home care or facility)
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional, dependable, and compassionate
Must maintain confidentiality with client and agency information

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Able to stand, kneel, bend at knees, and squat throughout the day.
Ability to safely assist clients in and out of a vehicle and safely lift a wheelchair or walker weighing up to 50lbs into and out of a vehicle.
Physical ability to lift and transfer clients
Use arms, legs, feet, hands, and fingers to assist clients with performing tasks of daily living.
Frequently move the whole body to perform tasks such as lifting, light housekeeping, walking, and driving.
Sitting for long periods of time
Ability to see and hear well (naturally or with correction)
